Not who they want you to be

From childhood to adulthood, most of us have been occupied with the ongoing challenge of trying to fit into prescribed life-models. However, science shows us that no human fingerprint is identical to another and this one little detail about us, proves that each of us has a unique identity and purpose. So, why continue to follow the same predesigned models and molds? The natural design of human nature is evolution; to evolve, not to be eternally repetitious or static.

What human was ordained with the absolute right, privilege or power to define what another human should be or become? Who you are and whom you will become, can only be revealed through you, as your life unfolds.

Many are experiencing confusion, frustration and even depression, as they attempt to be what the world wants them to be. Millions of young students are tormented because they don’t fit the mold of what their parents have planned for them to be.

In fact, millions of adults are just now realizing, in their later years, that they were wearing a mask or wearing a shell most of their lives, and that their true self and potential has never been allowed to be fully revealed or experienced.

Well, below we offer three strategies to help you on the path to becoming and being, who and what, you’re truly meant to be.

It may seem a bit harsh, but it isn't. You can care about other’s feelings without being driven or steered by their opinions of you. It’s great to ask for suggestions, feedback and advice from others. However, don’t allow yourself to become pre-occupied with their personal opinions about you and your life.
