The Bright Side Of Envy

It all happened to us at some point in our lives. Its lingering effects have always left us with unresolved humiliation that revolves around our own minds.

Drunk of certain desires in life, we’ve come to realize that there are things in life we deeply seek but despite our own efforts, they come in the hands of the people we know well. It always leaves us in the dark, it torments our feelings and we might feel ashamed of ourselves.

It could be the success we’ve been longing for all these years and feel deeply ashamed of ourselves because of our own failures. Or we might feel embarrassed about our own appearance and curse ourselves for it. Maybe we made some mistakes in the past that led ultimately to our tragedy.

We curse ourselves so much that despite every effort that we put in. Alone with our own torturous minds, we find ourselves looking at others as we envy them in agony. We realize that their light shines brighter than our own, it blinds us that we’re unable to see our own path anymore.

Despite its hurtful influence in ourselves, we need to realize that envy is inevitable and it is an important part of us that we need to understand with compassion and gentleness.

We were often told than envy is something that will plague our minds for as long as we feel it. We try so hard to suppress it and we feel ashamed for having this emotion. Sometimes, people lose control over themselves and do disastrous things because they lack the understanding of envy.

Too much envy might cause people to pull down anyone on there level. Or maybe it gets so far as to hurting someone for your own sake of satisfaction. We hide our own feelings and inside, it kills us slowly.

So rather than looking at it negatively, we should begin to approach envy with care and more direct analysis. If we managed to get hold of ourselves to get past these emotions, it will give us important insight into our own selves.

Envy is the desire to have something other people have. Envy always starts when we begin to compare ourselves to others. It can happen in a variety of ways. Maybe you desire someone’s intellect, status, fame or maybe wealth?

Maybe it can be a good life they’re having that you don’t seem to have in your life. It could be the happiness that someone seems to possess so easily. Or maybe it was the family that someone surrounds themselves with?

Envy can be quite intoxicating. But I have good news for you. We all feel envy. You’re not alone. It’s part of being human. Even the most successful people in the world can feel envy from time to time. Even me.

Even if envy cannot be shaken off so easily, there are things that you can do to use it to your own advantage. And before you realize, maybe envy wasn’t so bad after all, it could even be one of the best teachers we’ll ever have in life.

While being envious, we’re easily overwhelmed that we often ignore our own thoughts. Envy can be an important key in understanding ourselves. If we don’t have a clear idea of what we want in life, we were often confused and our paths often leave us lost.

Envy is a message given to us by our inner being. When we feel envy we need to relax, breath and take time to contemplate your thoughts. We need deep proactive thought and question ourselves. “Why do I envy someone”

Envy can help us reflect on ourselves. We find our true desires in life that we often deny for so long. It gives us a clear idea of what we might become in the future. It gives us a clear idea of what we really seek in life and wholeheartedly admit to ourselves that we want it.

We can learn a lot from envy only when we learn how to listen to it.

I often think that envy is one of our emotions that can cure laziness. When we finally realize what we’ve been missing in life, it usually motivates us to pursue it.

In today’s world, it’s hard to find the reason why we should start something remarkable in life. We make a lot of excuses for why we should not do anything. We fool ourselves into thinking that everything is going to be fine in the end and it often leads to no work at all.

But sometimes, envy is what gives us that meaning in our lives. When we envy someone we realize how much we’re lacking in life. It forces us out of our delusional daydream, it makes us realize that what we are is not often enough and it sends us back to our own realities. It gives us the starting point and it gives us the “why’s”. It becomes the driving force that lets us commit to certain goals.

We often think that envy is a forbidden emotion that should not be shown to others. But we don’t realize that envy also gives us some good qualities that make us a better person. When you’ve been hit by a pang of envy, we see ourselves in the real definition.

We become realistic of how we see ourselves and we’ve come to terms with the truth that we’re not the best in something. In the face of envy, we learn to be in humility.

Remember that when you feel envy, you killed your arrogance. You realized that you’re not as high as you once thought you were. And that’s a good step in life. Some people find it hard to be humble but once you see yourself more clearly, you’re a lot better than most of the people already.

We always need to know that in order to be good at something, we must see our true selves and envy can help us see ourselves more clearly.

Envy is an intense feeling of longing for somebody else things in their lives. it happens when we begin to compare our lives to them.

Envy might cause us to have the feeling of shame and humiliation but if we truly understand envy, we learn how to control it and use it for our own good. We realize a lot of things about ourselves and the world and we adapt certain good qualities in our life.

If used correctly, one day we might reach the destination we once always envied in others' lives and realize how much it helped us as a person and maybe one day, our success would be the way for us to tell people how we tamed our own intense longing.

When fully accept it in our lives without doubt or resistance, we find inner peace.
